We are working on Embarcadero RAD Studio 10.3 support for DBISAM, ElevateDB, and Elevate Web Builder (web server modules), and should have the support ready by the end of next week (first week of December). Some further important points about RAD Studio 10.3:
  • ElevateDB 2.29 was just released today, but does not include RAD Studio 10.3 support. ElevateDB 2.29 was already in the pipeline when 10.3 was released, so we didn't want to hold up 2.29 any longer since it was already a few weeks later than we wanted, and we wanted to get the new ElevateDB MacOS support released.

  • For both ElevateDB and DBISAM, the RAD Studio 10.3 support will also coincide with the removal of the user interfaces for the database servers. This has been a long time coming and will be a prerequisite for releasing Linux daemon versions of both the ElevateDB Server and DBISAM Database Server. The built-in user interfaces will be replaced with GUI utilities that allow you to remotely monitor and configure the servers. This support is already present for the DBISAM Database Server, and will be added for the ElevateDB Server.

  • Elevate Web Builder 3 is getting close and will also have its web server UI removed. We are not sure if the initial Elevate Web Builder 3 will have Linux web server support, and it all depends upon how fast we can get OpenSSL integrated into the web server (the Windows version uses the native Windows TLS/crypto API).

  • For all other platforms, including mobile and 64-bit MacOS, we will be releasing support for these platforms as Embarcadero transitions those compilers from using ARC to using manual memory management. For more information on this, please see this blog post by Delphi product manager Marco Cantu:
