Distributing Modified Server |

"Johnnie Norsworthy" | I have just made a few code modifications to the database server and was
getting ready for an initial install at a customer site. I am testing on a local computer now. First problem I noticed was that the server administration utility shows a ridiculously high "up time" when I start it. The actual database server shows the correct amount of up-time. I assume my hacks on the server code screwed something up, but I don't know where to check. I just tried the standard distributed version of DBSVR.EXE and it reported the same high up-time. Also, If I configure users, databases, and other settings at my local site, can I simply include that configuration file in my installation to have to settings as a starting point for customer sites or does it have to be created after the install? Thanks, -Johnnie |
