If you don't need to do updates, and if the database is not huge, you might consider simply upgrading the tables in order to use them with your new program. Do you have the source? If not you can't even start. If you can try compiling in XE2 and see what happens. Even if you have the source its unrealistic to expect Tim to give you a good enough list of changes needed on a product as old as 2.12 without paying for his time and effort. You'd be much better off upgrading to the latest version and modifying your app (which you'll probably have to do a lot of anyway to compile in XE2). Roy Lambert |

Joao | Sorry for the insistence, but the. dat other legacy applications are used, if I upgrade, these applications will probably not work. There ODBC version of this installation for win vista / 7?

Its not so much the OS that's the problem as the move to XE2. I think I was using Delphi 4 when I bought DBISAM 2.12 so things have moved on a lot. Do you have the source? If not its then Tim's decision as to wether he wants to sell a copy of DBISAM 2.12 source (I assume he's still got it) when DBISAM has moved on to version 4.3something and he's brought out ElevateDB as well.
