slowness between BDE and DBISAM |

David Mahistre | Hello I have a problem of slowness between BDE and DBISAM in network configuration without using the server mode
It occurs that there are at least 2 users of connected on the base and with DBISAMTable.findkey Have already had this problem Cordially |

This is a know effect and is due to Windows oplocks and is triggered by a simple change from a single exclusive user to multiple users. As far as I remember there's nothing that can be done. On the positive side DBISAM is a lot more stable than the BDE. Roy Lambert [Team Elevate] |

I know for TTable it HAS to be used with an index (well at least according to Delphi's help) and I think the same is true for DBISAM Roy |
