This is linked with my other post about not creating config files. I'm making provision for when idiot users decided to move the app and database around. I want to open up the Databases table and display their locations so the user can adjust the path. I was having massive problems trying to login. At the end of the day the error was mine (I'd forgotten to prefix the session name with the datamodule) but the 501 login failed error was less than helpful. Would it be possible to have a different error when trying to log into a non existent session? Roy Lambert |

<< Would it be possible to have a different error when trying to log into a non existent session? >> The problem is that "sessions" are not actually persisted anywhere other than in the EDB Manager, and only for its purposes. If the config path is wrong, but an actual directory, then EDB really has no way of knowing that this is the case, so it just creates an empty configuration in the specified directory. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
