Roy Lambert NLH Associates ![]() | Tim Minor point. I'm building a nice big table to test out the filter/range setting options and have the table open. Having imported a wadge of rows I clicked refresh but the row count isn't. You might also want to block syntax like INSERT INTO Emails SELECT * FROM Emails EDBManager just went into hibernation with the eggtimer showing. I've ended up creating a temporary table and am inserting from that. Roy Lambert |

Is this is in the EDB Manager, or in your app ? << You might also want to block syntax like INSERT INTO Emails SELECT * FROM Emails >> Actually, that should work also. In fact, we have an automated test for this situation, so something must be different in your case to cause it not to work. Any chance I can get the table, or is it too large ? -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Certainly is now - c8Gb so I can't even fit it onto a DVD <vbg> I don't know if it makes any difference but these were created with 1.07 (I think but it might have been 1.08) as a transfer on my HP XP notebook and I'm now on 1.09B2 on a Dell Vista notebook I also noticed that weird things had happened to an autoinc field in my users table which was 1,2,3,4,5 and is now 67165, 31869,16179,37223,42567 Roy Lambert |

Tim Young [Elevate Software] Elevate Software, Inc. ![]() | Roy, << Come on - read the subject line ![]() Oops, sorry. Could you possibly send me the import file and the CREATE TABLE for the table ? << Certainly is now - c8Gb so I can't even fit it onto a DVD <vbg> >> Okay, I'll see what I can find out here. << I also noticed that weird things had happened to an autoinc field in my users table which was 1,2,3,4,5 and is now 67165, 31869,16179,37223,42567 >> You should probably try repairing the table if you're seeing IDENTITY column values that are out of whack. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
