Abdulaziz Al-Jasser | Hi,
This maybe an expired question. But can someone point me to a link where I can find the differences between ElevateDB version 1 and 2? I was off from this site for some time. Abdulaziz Jasser |

I'm sure there's a better answer but what about looking at the release notes that comes with every download. Roy Lambert [Team Elevate] |

Fernando Dias Team Elevate | Salem,
There is a post from Tim, just before the release, listing the main differences: http://www.elevatesoft.com/forums?action=view&category=edb&id=edb_general&msg=4588&start=1&keywords=Moving%20Forward%20with%20ElevateDB%202%200&searchbody=True&forum=EDB_General#4588 However, many other enhancements have been made since then, that have been listed in the release notes since 2.00, as Roy noted. One of them (my favorite is the ability to return a sensitive result set for queries containing sub-queries in the SELECT column expressions, that is very useful for situations where you would have to use a join and thus get an insensitive result set. You can also download the manuals for V2 and compare with your V1 manuals. You will immediately notice some new chapters in the V2 manual, like "Creating and using Stores" or "Publishing and Unpublishing Databases". -- Fernando Dias [Team Elevate] |
