Tables listing in EDB Manager |

Greg Hallam Microcalm Solutions Inc | Is there any way to have the tables listed in EDB Manager be sorted alphabetically. When you have a lot of tables it can be hard to find specific ones.

Richard Harding Wise Nutrition Coaching | There is also an option in the Preferences. Click the Explorer tab and the first option is the Sort Order: By Name or By Creation Order.

Walter Matte Tactical Business Corporation | What would be nice is a separate option for Columns Sort Order. I would like all object Sorted A-Z except Columns - which I like to see in the order of the table. Walter |

Adam Brett Orixa Systems | I actually think that "everything alphabetical except for fields which should be in creation order" is the most sensible way for EDB Manager to display data, and think perhaps this should be the default??
Happy not to have this request implemented if others don't agree ... but on every installation of EDB manager I have to go through and set it as per the above, which is a bit slow. If it defaulted to the above it would be a nice, small improvement which would probably meet most people's needs. |

Now, provided that you don't change anything on a particular node, all objects will be sorted by name. Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
