How do I install and run EDB as a NT service. Could not find (or overlooked) it in the manual. And how do I tell it which config file to use? Regards, Harry |

<< How do I install and run EDB as a NT service. "J. B. Ferguson" | Harry,
It's in the manual. Use this link: http://www.elevatesoft.com/edb1sql_starting_configuring_server.htm It includes the information Tim has already posted for you plus some. -- Regards, Jan Ferguson Harry de Boer wrote: <<LS << <<How do I install and run EDB as a NT service. << Thanks. I didn't look in the SQL manual. Thought I would read about a subject like this in the EDB manual >> Due to the inclusion of a lot of new platforms for EDB in upcoming releases, the manuals were split into the "generic" side (SQL manual) and the "compiler-specific" side (Delphi, etc.). Any information on the product in a general sense can be found in the SQL manual. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
