Strange timer problem |

Michael Fullerton | I have an app with two timers. Timer1 does some data-related work.
Timer2 just backs up up the data files into a zip archive. Now a situation happened where Timer1 is running and opened a table. Then Timer2 started. Then in Timer1 SetRange is called on the previously opened table. An exception is raised "Cannot perform this operation on a closed dataset.". But the table was open and Timer2 does not close or open any tables just puts them in a zip file. What could be going on here? I do notice DoHandledLogin was called and a dialog was shown modaly from RemoteLoginDialog. |

I resolved the problem myself. The tables I was using were created dynamically and I forgot to set the correct session. |

AJ Marknette was kind enough to modify our NNTP server a while ago to add this capability, but unfortunately it is something that I have not had a chance to put in place yet. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
