Error #100 - Local / Remote |

Ries van der Velden | Hello,
Just started with ElevateDB, i'm having the following problem: Using ElevateDB Manager, I have created a remote session, created a database, and migrated it from DBISAM V4. All works fine. But then I would like to connect to that same database using a local sesison. All I get is error #100.. I've tried this in the same ElevateDB Manager, so version mismatch isn't likely. What could be the problem? Thanks in advance, Regards, Ries |

This type of error is caused by one of 3 things: 1) Version numbers (minor version number, not build number) don't match. The process compiled with EDB is using a lesser version number than that of the configuration file or database catalog. 2) Signatures don't match. The process compiled with EDB is using a different signature than that of the configuration file or database catalog. 3) Encryption passwords don't match. The process compiled with EDB is using a different encryption password than that of the configuration file or database catalog. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
