I don't know what but there's something weird going on. I'm going to struggle to explain it. I'm trying various things out which involve physically deleting the tables and catalog and recreating them. As part of testing the UI I am then doing a DELETE FROM Transactions WHERE _fkAccounts = nn I decided to be smart this time and before I started I imported a wadge of data several times (the same wadge just to get a decent sized table), set _fkAccounts from null to 1 + RAND(5) to give the illusion of multiple accounts. I then exported the table so I could save myself the effort of redoing it. Two weird things happen. 1. When I've deleted every record in Transactions in the app as above and try to re-import data I get a 601 error index pages are empty so I physically delete the table and try to import the data and 2. I get an error 1004 the column _Date cannot be null I don't know if this is fixed in b2, I recon it should be low down the priority list but I felt you should know, Roy Lambert |

<< 1. When I've deleted every record in Transactions in the app as above and try to re-import data I get a 601 error index pages are empty >> Are you still getting this error ? I've tried to recreate it here using the data you send with no luck. << 2. I get an error 1004 the column _Date cannot be null >> It's been fixed already. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

When b2 arrives I'll wipe everything, start again and see what happens. Roy Lambert |
