ElevateDB Manager suggestion |

Beni | I’m coming from MS SQL Server and I am using a lot the Enterprise Manager and SQL Management Studio. In Enterprise Manager there was a great feature: on right click on a table there was a possibility to “start a new query”. I would like to have something similar in ElevateDB Manager – possibility to create a new SELECT statement on the selected table with all the columns from that table.

Adam Brett Orixa Systems | Beni,
There are quite a lot of "SQL construction" GUI tools around. I actually incorporate one produced by Fast-Report into my Delphi Apps. I agree that it would be great to have a "helping hand" with coding SQL in EDBMgr. Personally I think it would be easy enough to add a drag-and-drop one, similar to the FR component, and this would be my preference, as it allows fairly complex SELECT statements with multiple JOINs to be created easily. |
