Save SQL windows when closing and opening EDBMgr |

Barry | When closing EDBMgr, how about an option that would save the contents of the newly opened SQL windows? Maybe have a checkable menu item "Save State" under the "Edit" menu?
When this menu item is checked it will let me quickly close EDMgr by storing all of the newly opened but unsaved SQL windows to a text file (in a State subdirectory) so when I re-open EDBMgr, it will re-open the same SQL tabs. That way I don't have to physically save each new but modified SQL statement for work in progress. If the SQL statement is already associated with a file, then it will still prompt me to save it like it does now. So the "Save State" will only auto save the new SQL windows that were created during the session and are not associated with an existing .SQL file. I think this is useful because I have a lot of SQL windows opened that don't have to be saved permanently. I just want to save the state of the SQL as it is. Barry |
