EWB 3 Build 7 - Problems with TCollectionItem in Inspector |
Sun, Mar 29 2020 7:29 PM | Permanent Link |
Rob Frye | There are several problems within the Inspector when working with collection items.
1) Properties aren't properly refreshed within the Inspector when their values change as the result of changing another property. For example with TDataColumn, when the Length or Scale properties change because the DataType property has been changed, the new values won't be shown immediately. If you switch to another DataColumn and then back, you can see the updated values. 2) When a property for a collection item is changed, the highlighting is removed from the currently selected item in the list of collection items (at the bottom of the Inspector), so it is no longer clear which item is being edited. 3) The 'Name' property isn't included in the Properties list (even though it is specified as published). I think I ran into last week and fixed it along with some other issues with the inspector control. << 2) When a property for a collection item is changed, the highlighting is removed from the currently selected item in the list of collection items (at the bottom of the Inspector), so it is no longer clear which item is being edited. >> Got this, thanks. << 3) The 'Name' property isn't included in the Properties list (even though it is specified as published). >> This one was also already fixed.
