Animation issue |

Uli Becker | When I show a form (autocreated) the first time, an assigned animations
seems to be ignored. Also the OnAnimationComplete does not fire. Showing the same form a second time works as expected: the animation is visible. Here a sample: http://www.beckersoft-online.de/demos/testpopupanimation.html Thanks Uli |

Tim Young [Elevate Software] Elevate Software, Inc. timyoung@elevatesoft.com | Uli,
Yeah, I "added" a visibility animation bug when I fixed this issue: http://www.elevatesoft.com/incident?action=viewaddr&category=ewb&release=2.03&incident=4297 A fix will be in 2.04 with the new icon font support, which looks like mid-next-week. << http://www.beckersoft-online.de/demos/testpopupanimation.html >> Running that application really weirded me out for a second, because the LogOutput calls were appearing in *my* IDE messages panel. I was sitting here thinking "how the heck is Uli doing that ????". Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

As a very low priority feature might be nice to have a have a "release" build ifdef where this function default to no-op. Other than that i have to remember this for next April 1 and email you a link of an EWb app that put some more "interesting" messages into the log (i.e. "Initializing remote control of the PC .... Done." etc Raul |

Uli Becker | Tim,

FWIW, the debug things in my applications are controlled by a magic value in the localStorage. You set this by running the application with a ?debug=magicvalue parameter, which having set the local storage reloads itself without the parameter. Once set, it then persists so I only have to do it on new browsers, and of course end users never know or see the debug options. -- Matthew Jones |
