You don't directly connect to a database in Elevate Web Builder. Instead, you communicate with the back-end web server, which serves up JSON for dataset columns and rows and accepts transaction operations for inserting, updating, and deleting rows. Elevate Web Builder comes with built-in support for ElevateDB, DBISAM, and ADO/OLEDB/ODBC databases in the Elevate Web Builder web server.
